A boat-based Malapascua pinnacle with a sloping reef, a mid-reef mooring and a deeper coral garden for an intermediate profile.

About Bugtong Bato

Bugtong Bato is a boat-access Malapascua pinnacle with a sloping reef, a small wall and a deeper coral-rich section that together create two useful dive profiles on one site. A mid-reef mooring splits the area, so the upper slope and the lower coral garden can be explored separately or linked into a longer, unhurried route. The draw is the dense soft coral cover, sea fans and sponge growth, plus the steady reef life that gathers around the structure.
