About Coral Gardens Reef

Coral Gardens Reef is a boat-accessed coral reef on the southwest side of Talikud Island that works well for relaxed drift dives and training runs. The reef mixes coral heads, sandier patches and plenty of small structure, so it rewards slow buoyancy control and an eye for macro life more than fast swimming. It is strongest on calm days, when the water is clearer and the marine park around it feels especially active. Expect colorful reef fish, turtles and plenty of macro subjects.
