About Bajo Negro, Black Rock
Bajo Negro, also known as Black Rock, is a remote Bat Islands pinnacle inside Santa Rosa National Park, where current can turn the dive from calm to lively fast. The site mixes a steep volcanic wall, black coral and sponges, and a good chance of sharks, rays, barracuda, and dense schooling fish, so it rewards advanced divers who stay composed and watch the water. It is the kind of offshore dive that feels simple only when the boat plan, the current, and the visibility all line up.
