Meros is a shallow volcanic rock-and-sand pinnacle on Costa Rica's Pacific side, commonly used as a relaxed check-out or second dive. The site suits photographers and newer divers who want an easy profile with time to work the crevices, small overhangs, and sand. Expect a macro-focused dive with frogfish, nudibranchs, morays, pufferfish, octopus, and schools of small reef fish, plus the occasional larger grouper or ray passing through.
