Rio Lajas
Rio Lajas is a dive site located at the mouth of a river, reached by about a 30-minute ride from Malpaís. It’s known for encounters with a variety of fish around the river mouth area. The bottom is sandy, and divers are advised to stay close to their guide and maintain good buoyancy control to avoid dropping into the sand. It can also work well as a place to practice buoyancy skills.
