La Réserve
Protected reserve plateau with gorgonians and macro life.
Local operator required
Reserve access is handled through local dive centers operating in the authorized zone.
Boat access, shallow plateau relief, and reserve rules make La Réserve a structured Mediterranean exploration dive.
About La Réserve
La Réserve is a boat-access protected plateau offshore from Palavas, centered on the Cousança rock and its authorized diving zone. The site combines white gorgonians, coralligenous growth, and sponges with a broad shallow relief that rewards careful exploration rather than a quick single-pass dive. Reserve rules, limited mooring, and weather-sensitive clarity make this more of a structured Mediterranean exploration site than a casual hop-out reef, but the shallow profile keeps it approachable when conditions are calm.
