Pierre du Jas is a deep boat sec off Sanary with gorgonians and walls.
Pierre du Jas is a boat-dived open-water sec off the Sanary / Embiez side of the coast, built around a compact rocky rise with walls and fissures. It is a short deep loop rather than a sprawling site, so good buoyancy and an unhurried scan of the faces pay off. The site is known for gorgonians and Mediterranean fish life, including anthias, dentex, grouper, moray eels, conger, and occasional mola-mola. It suits experienced divers who want a small but busy deep structure instead of a long drift.
