Shark Bait Shallow
Roatan boat dive with a shallow coral top and sloping wall.
Plan Shark Bait Shallow as a relaxed Roatan reef-and-wall dive: shallow coral start, sandy channels, then a deeper drop that is best on calm days.
About Shark Bait Shallow
Shark Bait Shallow is a Roatan dive site on the Mahogany Bay side of the island, built around a shallow coral bed that drops into a sloping wall and sandy channels. It suits divers who want an easy start that can still open into a deeper wall profile without leaving the reef behind. Expect brain coral, lettuce leaf coral, gorgonians, sea fans, and nurse sharks along the sand. Plan it as a calm-day boat dive within your certification limits.
