Nudi Retreat is a classic Lembeh Strait coral bowl with shallow soft-coral growth, a sandy slope, and two mini walls that make the site feel bigger than the map line suggests. It is one of the best places in the strait for macro photography because pygmy seahorses, sea moths, nudibranchs, and other tiny subjects sit close together in the shallows. Plan for boat access, mild current that can open the soft corals, and a site that is popular enough to deserve a patient, guide-led dive plan.

A boat-access macro dive with a shallow coral bowl, sandy slope, and mini walls that reward slow photography work.
Freediving
Not a practical freedive target; the site is best as a guided macro scuba dive.
