About Cala Grande
Cala Grande is a short-boat-access cave dive on the open-sea side of Palmaria Island inside the Porto Venere marine area. Divers explore a rocky creek with very shallow cave openings, where shrimp, crabs, octopus, moray eels, conger eels, groupers, and clouds of black damselfish make it a compact and photogenic site for relaxed scuba and snorkel outings.
