Shallow horseshoe cave dive with an air pocket near Punta Giglio.
Grotta di Falco is a shallow cave dive in the Punta Giglio side of Alghero, best known for its horseshoe-shaped passage and air pocket. The route starts with a brief submerged approach, opens into an interior chamber, and then continues through an emerged section before returning to blue water. It is a better fit for calm seas and controlled buoyancy than for rough days, and the overhangs can hold red coral, anemones, conger and other cave life.

Scuba Diving
Shallow overhead cave dive with two openings, a brief submerged approach, and an emerged chamber where the route can continue on foot.
Freediving
Not a freedive-first site. The overhead section and air pocket make it a scuba cave dive rather than a breath-hold target.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is best kept outside the cave route. The main passage is built around scuba control, buoyancy and a guided overhead section.
