About Lohi Kandu Thila
Lohi Kandu Thila is a long, narrow drift thila in South Male Atoll, Maldives, with a hard-coral outer face and boat-only access. The open-water profile rewards a steady guide, good buoyancy, and a clear drift plan, while the broad reef shape can pull sharks, turtles, rays, dolphins, and schooling fish into the dive when current is moving. It is a site that feels more deliberate than casual, with the strongest payoff for divers who are comfortable reading the water and staying relaxed through the drift.
