Shore-only Juara bay dive with a sandy entry, sloping coral reef, wave surge in the shallows, and easy beach access.

About Lagoon

Lagoon is a shore-only Tioman reef dive at the southern end of Juara Beach. A sandy bay rolls into a gently sloping coral reef with large coral boulders and river rock areas, and the site is known for trevally, barracuda, rays, turtles, pufferfish, porcupinefish, and occasional blacktip reef sharks. It suits divers who are comfortable with surge and a relaxed coral slope.

Scuba Diving

The main fit is a shore dive with a gentle reef slope and attention to wave surge over the shallow section.

Freediving

The shallow bay can work for controlled freediving on calm days, but wave surge makes timing important.

Snorkeling

Snorkeling works best close to shore on calm days; wave action can make the entry choppy.
