Canareef South is a sheltered inside-reef garden on Addu's southeast side, where a shallow sandy lagoon eases into coral blocks and a broad reef slope used for easy underwater circuits and photo-friendly dives. It is best treated as a calm coral-and-macro site for turtles, stingrays, sleeping whitetip reef sharks, pipefish, and other small reef life rather than a current-driven channel dive.
