Merikafalhu ( Tiger point )
This site is known for close encounters with a resident population of tiger sharks that gather in an area outside a harbor where fish remains were historically discarded. Dives are run in a structured way: groups descend to around 10β11 m, settle on the seabed for up to about 30 minutes, and watch the sharks arrive after chum is released. Tiger sharks and other large fish concentrate around fish heads placed between rocks, and once feeding ends the sharks may move more freely between diver groups.
