Oesterputten
About Oesterputten
This site is planned around the tide: at low tide you can cross the old harbour mouth on foot, then walk to the corner and enter at the first breakwater. Underwater you can swim straight out and return on a left-hand loop. The area is known for rich marine life, with many sizeable flatfish and occasional lumpfish in spring. Currents can be strong, especially after the tide turns.
