About This Dive Spot

Mermaid Cove is a sheltered bay with a sandy bottom in the shallows, used for try dives and training. A coral garden sits on the right side inside the bay, sloping from very shallow water down to mid-depth. Outside the bay, the reef transitions into a richer drop-off reaching deeper water, offering a progression from easy sheltered dives to deeper profiles. The area is known for a resident school of yellowtail barracuda, a variety of moray eels, and nudibranch activity in winter.
