Agnay Sanctuary is a sheltered Romblon bay reef built around dome-shaped Acropora and coral-covered slopes. Early-morning dives are the best window for big fish activity, with eagle rays, frogfish, large shoals, and occasional sharks showing in the calm water. It is a relaxed dive rather than a demanding one, so the main task is slow buoyancy over the coral and a little patience around the reef.

Safety Notes
Keep buoyancy tight over the dome corals and move slowly so you do not stir sand across the reef. Early-morning fish activity rewards patient hovering.
Access Restrictions
Use the local sanctuary access and follow reef-friendly behavior in the protected bay.

Scuba Diving

Freediving
The sheltered bay can suit calm-condition freediving, but Agnay Sanctuary is better known as a relaxed scuba reef with early-morning life.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling can be pleasant in calm water, but scuba is the better way to work the reef and watch for rays or frogfish.
