Airplane Wreck is a Moalboal boat dive with an artificial-reef plane on a sandy slope beside a deeper wall.

About Airplane Wreck

Airplane Wreck is a boat-access artificial reef in Moalboal, set on a sandy slope beside a deeper wall. The plane itself is the hook, but the wider line of the dive is what makes it work: a sloping seabed, coral growth on the structure, and plenty of shelter around the wreck for repeated passes. It is best treated as a more demanding site than the name suggests. Divers need to manage depth, gas, and drift while keeping the wreck in view, and the reward is a compact tropical dive with strong photo potential and a lot of life packed around a single feature.
