About Cathedral Cave
Cathedral Cave is a boat-access dive located a short ride from Sagres harbour. The dive starts around 15 m and becomes shallower as you swim into a circular cavern featuring two internal air chambers, with the larger chamber resembling a cathedral dome. Marine life is concentrated in and around the cave, including nudibranchs, conger and moray eels, lobsters and spider crabs, tube anemones, corals on the entrance walls, and many species of fish.
