About Saxophone
Saxophone Bay at Koh Larn is one of Pattaya’s most versatile "Near Island" dive sites, perfect for those who appreciate marine diversity and relaxed conditions. Located on the southwest side of the island, it gets its name from the unique shape of the bay's coastline. The Saxophone Experience * Vibrant Topography: The site features a long, shallow reef dominated by massive starry corals and large boulder bommies. As you move along the coast, the reef gradually slopes from 3m to 18m, making it ideal for both scuba and freediving training. * Premium Marine Life: Keep your eyes peeled for Hawksbill turtles, which are frequent residents here. The sandy channels between coral patches are prime spots for spotting Blue-spotted Ribbontail rays and camouflaged Nudibranchs. * The "Secret" Resident: For those with a keen eye, Saxophone Bay is one of the best spots to find Seahorses clinging to the soft corals and fans. * Optimal Conditions: Sheltered from strong northerly winds, it offers calm waters and visibility ranging from 5m to 15m year-round.
