Shabrur Umm Gamar is a boat dive with wall, reef, and wreck.
Shabrur Umm Gamar is a reef and wall dive south of Umm Gamar, with a shallow wall and coral garden on the west side and a deeper patrol-boat wreck on the southeast side. It works as a multi-level Red Sea site where the wall, drop-off, and wreck give experienced divers a fuller route than the shallow reef alone. Boat teams should plan for current, drift timing, and a clean pickup on the exposed side.

Site conditions, restrictions, and access requirements.
Site Conditions
Safety Notes
Treat this as a current-aware wall dive. The deeper wreck and drop-off call for buoyancy control, timing, and a clear ascent plan.
Access Restrictions
Boat access only; plan for a drop-off rather than a shore entry.
Legal Notes
Follow operator briefings and any local Red Sea marine-park rules for boat dives and mooring use.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
The main route is a wall or drop-off dive with a wreck add-on and strong big-fish potential.
Freediving
Not a freedive-first site because the wall and wreck sit deeper than comfortable breath-hold range.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is limited to the shallower reef fringe and is not the main use case.
