A flat sandy bottom opens into a series of canyons on the north side of Gili Trawangan, with the Glen Nusa wreck at the far end and sharks, turtles, cuttlefish, and stingrays moving through the site. The dive mixes shallow reef time with a deeper canyon profile, so it feels varied without being hard to read. The north-side route is easy to follow on the reef top, but it still rewards calm weather and a flexible plan because current and wave exposure can change the dive quickly.
