Froggy Pond is a sheltered Simon's Town shore dive in a small False Bay cove with a flat sandy floor, rocky margins and a simple route that suits calm-water practice. It is more useful as a low-drama training cove than as a scenery-first reef, with the sanctuary gate and shallow surge shaping the dive. When the bay is calm, the site gives an easy read on entry, trim and buddy control, with seaweed, sand and small-crevice life around the rocky point.
