Roman Rock
About Roman Rock
Roman Rock is a reef on the west side of False Bay within a marine protected area where a permit is required. The site features a flat, coarse shelly sand bottom with large boulders and rocky outcrops, with the reef’s long axis running roughly east–west. The steeper rock faces are largely covered with common feather stars and sea cucumbers, with sea fans found across the site and occasional sand slugs.
