La Catedral
Boat cave dive with morays at La Catedral
La Catedral is a north Tenerife cave dive on a rocky platform with coral terraces, a wall, and a silt-sensitive interior.
About La Catedral
La Catedral, also known locally as Palm-mar Cave, is a boat dive off Tenerife's north coast, set on a rocky platform with coral terraces, a cave entrance, and a wall that rewards good buoyancy and a controlled pace. The site is best known for moray eels, rays, and other fish around the entrance and along the rock, while the deeper cave route is for trained teams that are comfortable with overhead conditions and limited visibility if silt is stirred. It suits confident divers who want an offshore cave-and-wall profile, strong life around the structure, and a dive plan that keeps penetration conservative unless the team is properly qualified.

Scuba Diving
Walls descend to about 40 m, making it suited to deeper scuba profiles.
Freediving
Not a freedive site. The overhead cave profile and depth make it scuba-first.
Snorkeling
Not a casual snorkel stop; the main features sit too deep and the cave route is for divers.
