Steep Racha Yai wall with hard coral and clear water.
Use a local Phuket boat operator; access and timing are run from the boat.
Waterfall Wall is the steeper Racha Yai wall on the island's east side, where a sloping reef drops past hard coral into sand. It is popular because it blends healthy coral, easy photography, and plenty of reef fish, with occasional sharks and rays on the bottom. In calm conditions it stays approachable, but when the tide runs it becomes a more dynamic wall and drift-style dive.

Boat access only.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
A wall dive down to about 25 m and described as suitable for all experience levels.
Freediving
Experienced freedivers can use the shallow top in calm conditions, but the wall profile and current shifts make scuba the better fit.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is better on the shallower Racha Yai bays than on Waterfall Wall itself; this site is mainly about the wall and coral slope underwater.
