Yanui Beach is a small west-facing bay near the southern tip of Phuket. Divers enter and reach deeper water quickly, with dives typically going down to around 12 m. Near the center of the bay, a large root formation known as the “corralea mole” sits at about 8 m and attracts schools of fish. The site is described as having Indian Ocean species and can also host rarer critters.
