Hallsands is a gentle South Devon shore dive with easy beach access, a reef-and-sand bottom, and the remains of the old village still visible offshore. It works well as a novice or training dive, yet the site still has enough structure and history to interest experienced divers. Keep the plan tight on settled days, because the inshore route is friendly but the water can build if you push too far out.
