Thurlestone Beach
Shallow shore wreck dive at Thurlestone Beach
Easy shore wreck dive on the Louis Sheid with rocky reef patches, tide-sensitive access, and a beginner-friendly profile when the sea is settled.
About Thurlestone Beach
Thurlestone Beach is a shallow shore wreck dive on the Louis Sheid, with rocky reef patches and plenty of small-life habitat around the broken-up remains. The wreck is easy to navigate because it sits very shallow and can show above the waterline at low tide, while a settled sea gives you a simple swim-in and a relaxed profile. It suits beginner wreck divers and calm shore dives, but swell and sand movement can quickly change how clear the site feels.
