Challaborough Bay is a beginner-friendly shore dive opposite Burgh Island, with an easy summer snorkel option when the water is calm. The site is all about rocky gullies, kelp beds, and sandy patches that give cuttlefish, bass, spider crabs, and other coastal life plenty of cover. It works best as a relaxed bay dive with simple entry, good training potential, and a weather-sensitive character that changes quickly when wind or tide picks up.
