Chole Reef South features a reef that begins at a depth of approximately 5 meters and slopes down to 17 meters, where it transitions into sandy areas interspersed with coral rubble. This habitat is frequented by scavenging titan triggerfish. Divers may also encounter giant reef rays resting just a few meters off the reef on the rubble. The area is home to a diverse array of marine life, including colorful schools of damsels, fusiliers, butterflyfish, angelfish, and parrotfish.
