Bridge Span 14 is one of fourteen spans from the original Hathaway Bridge (built in 1929) that were later sunk in 1988. It is described as the most frequently dived of the bridge spans in the area. Divers can expect typical Gulf of Mexico fish life, including stingrays, snapper, triggerfish, hogfish, and occasionally sharks such as sandbar, blacknose, and bonnethead.
