CFK Lagoon is a shore-access training lagoon on the College of the Florida Keys campus, built for controlled practice rather than open-water exploration. The site is restricted to the college or screened local dive shops, and its shallow platforms support buoyancy drills, student training, and low-visibility skill work. Expect a mix of small reef fish, grunts, snapper, occasional grouper, turtles, and octopus in a sheltered basin that rewards careful trim and calm movement.
