About Fort Ross
Fort Ross is a shore-entry cove dive on the Sonoma Coast, with a rocky beach approach that can be surge-sensitive when the ocean energy shifts the wrong way. Underwater, divers can work northwest to pinnacles and the remains of an old wreck or head south along rock walls, making the site interesting without needing penetration. Metridium anemones, fish, and nudibranchs add color to the rocky terrain when conditions are calm enough for a clean entry.
