Tokai Maru (Wreck)
About Tokai Maru (Wreck)
The Tokai Maru is a WWII-era shipwreck that was torpedoed in 1943 and now rests on the bottom of Apra Harbor. It lies alongside the Coromoran wreck, making it an unusual wreck pairing. The wreck is covered in whip corals that shelter small whip blennies. Divers commonly see eels, turtles, large map pufferfish, and colorful nudibranchs around the structure.
