If you want one country that can deliver macro, reefs, and wrecks without changing languages or time zones, the Philippines is hard to beat. Build a trip around a style: critter hunting in Anilao and Batangas, wreck history in Coron or Subic Bay, or a seasonal liveaboard to Tubbataha via Puerto Princesa. Add warm water (often 26°C to 30°C) and a deep bench of experienced local dive staff, and the main challenge becomes choosing where to focus.
