Sheltered Batemans Bay shore dive with reef and wall sections.
Guerrilla Bay is a sheltered Batemans Marine Park shore site with two distinct dive areas. The southern reef is the easier line, while The Pot on the north side is for experienced divers when tide and swell line up. Expect a rocky reef landscape with bommies, crevices, overhangs, and plenty of temperate marine life. It suits divers who want a compact shore dive with real structure, but the rock entry and northern side need care on rough or high-energy days.
Site Conditions
Safety Notes
Use care on the rock entry for the north side and The Pot, especially on lower tide or when swell wraps into the bay.
Access Restrictions
Public beach access is the normal entry; the north-side rock entry is tide-sensitive and less forgiving.
Legal Notes
Guerilla Bay sits within Batemans Marine Park sanctuary-zone waters, so follow local park rules and leave the reef as you find it.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
The Pot on the north side is the more advanced option, while the south-side reef is the easier training and sightseeing line.
Snorkeling
The sheltered south-side reef is the best snorkelling line, especially on calm days with a steady tide.
