About Blue Corner
Blue Corner is a dynamic dive site on the north coast of Nusa Penida, characterized by strong currents and a stepped rocky topography that descends into deeper water. The site is composed of a series of ledges and terraces with relatively limited coral cover, due to the constant exposure to current. These same conditions, however, attract pelagic species, and during the right season it is a reliable option for mola mola sightings. Marble rays can also be found resting in rocky shelters along the slope. This is a deeper dive site, and it is well suited for divers certified to 40 meters who want to explore the lower ledges. While strong currents are a defining feature of the area and can represent a potential hazard, dives are carefully planned to take place during favorable conditions, typically around slack tide, in order to minimize current exposure. Conditions can change quickly, and safe diving windows are often limited to specific periods of the day when current and surface condit

Local Intel For Blue Corner
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba
Current-heavy drift dive over stepped ledges and a deeper corner profile; best for advanced divers comfortable with guide-led slack-tide timing.
Freedive
Not a practical freedive target because the site is boat-based, current-heavy, and usually run as a drifting scuba dive.
Snorkel
Not a default snorkel site. The usable terrain sits too deep and too exposed for relaxed surface snorkeling.
