Close-in Palavas site with a compact plateau, vault structure, and crevice-filled rock that rewards macro-style exploration.
About La voute
La voute is a compact Palavas dive site built around a shallow rocky plateau and a small vault that pulls in open-water fish. The rock is full of crevices and overhangs, so octopus, conger eels, and rays can show up while the broader plateau stays easy to read. It is a close-in site rather than a long run, but current can be lively on many days, so the best dives stay compact and deliberate.

Scuba Diving
A compact plateau and vault structure make this a close-range dive with lots of rock work and crevices.
Freediving
Not a freedive-first site; the rock, overhead vault, and current make scuba the better fit.
Snorkeling
Only the calmest shallow water would suit snorkeling, and the site is far better as a scuba macro dive.
