Numo House Reef is a shore-access house reef beside the Numo hotel in Ierapetra, built around a shallow profile of colored rock, sand, and seagrass. The route stays relaxed and close to the surface before easing into a slightly deeper outer section, so it feels more like an easy Mediterranean house reef than a technical dive. Shelter from northerly weather usually keeps the site calm, which makes it a good fit for beginner scuba, snorkeling, and easy freediving outings. Look for flounders, lionfish, pufferfish, and other native fish moving through the seagrass and rock pockets.
