Use Skalakia for a shallow shore session or snorkel-friendly reef day; the main planning factor is keeping the rocky entry simple and matching the dive to calm conditions.
About Skalakia
Skalakia is a shallow rocky reef off Marathopoli that works well for relaxed guided dives and snorkeling. The route stays compact, with sand patches, reef ledges and rock arcs that reward a slow pace more than long swims. It is a home-reef style site, so the main planning job is choosing a calm day and keeping the rocky shore entry smooth. Expect mixed Mediterranean reef life and a site that feels more like a local training reef than a big destination wall.
