About This Dive Spot

A shallow rocky ridge on the western edge of Haifa Bay, with the main reef beginning about 300 meters offshore. The site sits in 4–9 meters, making it suitable for relaxed, shallow dives. The reef supports dense seaweed growth and is home to many small marine creatures such as snails and nudibranchs. Sea hares are commonly seen here.

The wreck now lies on its side at around 12 m depth, with hardened cement that spilled from the hold forming boulder-like shapes around the site. Over time the wreck has become habitat for many fish and other marine animals, including Mediterranean species and fish that favor darker, sheltered spaces inside the wreck.
