Secca dei Vricci is a deep, current-heavy Palmarola reef.
Secca dei Vricci is a deep, current-heavy Palmarola reef.
Secca dei Vricci is a Palmarola shoal reached by boat, with a deep top, a steep north wall, and a dramatic corner profile that rewards expert-level current management. The red gorgonian forest is the main visual draw, while the cracks and overhangs make the dive feel busy and three-dimensional rather than empty open water. In calm conditions it is a striking wall dive; when current is running, it becomes a committed technical day that only experienced divers should attempt.
