Nyanko Rock is a boat-access dive in Ainan with a compact rocky profile and quick drop-offs, so it often works as an early stop for experienced divers and deeper training days. The site can also be swum to by confident divers on calm days, but boat access is the normal choice. It is a fish-rich Ainan stop known for dense jawfish habitat, with snappers, groupers, scorpionfish, frogfish, wrasse, trumpetfish, turtles, and seasonal catshark sightings in cooler months. Plan conservatively and expect a site that rewards good buoyancy and steady gas management.
