Holy Sand is a boat-access macro site in the gap between Perhentian Besar and Perhentian Kecil, built around a juvenile nursery area with scattered bottles and metal scraps that shelter small marine life. It is known for patient close-up diving rather than big reef scenery, with juvenile frogfish, octopus, shrimp, and other critters rewarding careful searching. Plan it as a guided boat dive and expect the best results when visibility is steady and you are comfortable slowing down to look for life in the debris and sand.
