Mount K Avenue is a Kota Kinabalu reef dive that works best as a slow, observant boat day. It sits in the city’s broader marine circuit, so the practical plan is straightforward: book a local operator, expect reef structure rather than a featureless sand flat, and leave room for mild tropical movement and changing surface conditions. It is the kind of site where careful buoyancy and close inspection matter more than covering distance.
