This thila lies in the channel between two islands and features a shallow reef top around 10 m dropping to plateaus near 25 m. A large overhang on the north side at about 25 m is described as being covered with fan corals. In medium to strong outgoing current, divers may shelter and hold position on the west plateau while watching schooling fish and pelagic life gathering at the front of the thila.

This layout concentrates plankton in the outgoing current, attracting mantas that come here to feed. Currents can range from medium to strong, with manta feeding activity noted during the south-west monsoon.

It is also described as a good site for night dives, and with luck a tiger shark may be seen.

The north and south corners feature overhangs and reef blocks around 25 m. The site is exposed to current, and divers may hold onto the reef in stronger flow while observing pelagic life out front.

To the south, the slope transitions into an overhang area featuring the Joy Cave at roughly 20 m. The site is known for resting nurse sharks in coral holes and whitetip reef sharks cruising along the slope, along with moray eels, turtles, and napoleon wrasse.
