Kottefaru Kanmathi
Kottefaru Kanmathi is a drift dive with mantas, coral, and big fish.
Local operator required
Boat logistics, current timing, and seasonal manta windows make a local operator important.
An advanced Maldives drift dive with a hard-coral top reef, seasonal manta cleaning, and strong current around a long wall.
About Kottefaru Kanmathi
Kottefaru Kanmathi is a long drift dive along Kottefaru Island where a hard-coral top reef steps into a slope and then a deeper wall. In season, the top reef becomes a manta cleaning station, and the whole route pulls in a mix of big pelagics and smaller life that makes the site feel dense from start to finish. It is a classic Maldives-style drift profile with current, coral structure, and big-animal potential rather than a calm house reef.
