About Little Brother Cenote
Little Brother Cenote is the darker, more atmospheric cavern line commonly paired with Kukulkan in the Chac Mool system south of Playa del Carmen. The route starts from a quiet jungle sinkhole and winds through broad limestone rooms where halocline, fossils, and hanging formations give the dive a classic Riviera Maya cavern feel. Divers usually surface in an air dome before following the line back out, and the site is widely used as an accessible first cenote day for certified open-water divers diving with a cavern guide.
